 HAPPY HOWDY HALLOWEEN Y'ALL!! 

And happy pday haha i literally know I already blew up ALL of your emails but I have one last final one so I can finally catch up and be done being behind haha the procrastination stops today!! Ya know!! Haha 

Anyways!! This week was AWESOME!! We had a blast on exchanges. We attended Koko's Gymnastics!! We had a fall festival and Dayo spoke in church for the first time. And on top of all that awesomeness we had miracles on miracles this week!! 

Well to start this week was the first time I ever had to bash with someone!! No cap a legit bash and you would never guess what it was on. It was all about how we SHOULD have polygamy. I wasn't prepared for that haha no cap it was an interesting experience. We got through the lesson and he was over it and realized why we don't have it now. So I guess that's a dub!!

Koko the queen!! Had gymnastics the day we were being fed by them so we got to hitch a ride to gymnastics too and an awesome lesson to end the night with them. We had no idea either that their dad was gonna be there haha so we finally met their dad. And he warmed up to us so thats A MIRACLE!! his mama even liked talking to us so that was amazing. I'm so thankful I got to see that miracle. Their dad gave them permission to be in the primary program and is going to come  it's literally the coolest miracle I have ever seen!! The lesson was so spiritual too and the spirit was there so strong. We talked about reading our scriptures daily and they saw my book of Mormon which now is very marked up and decorated and they were so excited to find out that you can color your favorite verses!! Once they found that out they were SO invested in the Book haha. We read some scriptures and were discussing them and Kyrie than asked to share a verse that related and totally bore testimony it. I literally cried. I was so happy and proud and exctied. Haha like i know that Heavenly Father feels that way too because it was the most spiritual moment of my mission yet. 

The fall festival was on Friday!! We had the best chili I have ever had!!! IT WAS SO GOOD!! the best one had some really good brisket in it haha!! It was so cool to see everyone in their costumes and playing games. We dressed up as Nurses haha and said we were nurses of the soul and carried around our Book of Mormons and our ward liked it haha we combined with Wheatstone a neighboring ward to ours and the Elders came as each other haha they just changed name tags. Some of the ward member were VERY confused haha it was a fail to say the least so we won missionary costumes lol 

On the exchange Hermana Fowler was the one to come to Towne Lake with me and got to experience all the miracles we had with kyrie and koko and it was such an amazing and needed experience. On the exchange it was a VERY nice breath of fresh air. The aps were on exchange too and it was funny to see them in our complex. We got to talk with them alot. They are hilarious. Hermana Fowler is from Utah haha her cousin actually went to school with me haha and Hermana Fowler actually went to college in Virgina. She is adorable!! I am so thankful I have her as my STL!! We bonded so much she's amazing. 

This week we have been to Dutch bros every single day and don't have one picture of it haha but we were there!! I also got a very WONDERFUL package 

Anyways MIRACLES, MIRACLES, MIRACLES Is the theme of this week!! This is the lord's work and I am so thankful I get to be apart of it haha!! Y'all rock!!!! Enjoy Halloween and send me all the pictures of y'alls costumes !!!

The one where Sister Wankier is a Yankees fan⚾️

 HAPPY PDAY!! Lol (Oct. 18- Oct. 24)

This week from the title of the email you can tell is a sad week to be a Yankees fan and a great week to be an Astros fan!! Haha to please the members who so graciously feed us VERY nice meals!! YAY for the world series ya know haha gotta support I guess lol we were in a lesson when they were playing and letty THE QUEEN!! Remembered I was a Yankees fan and said to come watch with her and her family so we couldn't deny it haha and we watched alittle of the game it was awesome to enjoy some family time with them. They have become the best little family out here!! 

Haha Anyways YAY another week down in fact I keep forgetting to get that email from last week in so I guess it's just going to be forgotten lol but we have been seeing some BIG successes and a mighty change of hearts in a lot of the people we are teaching!! Specifically with Sally girl!! She's alittle stubborn haha doesn't seem to like the organized religion thing but has began reading the Bible on her own to grow a personal relationship with him. It's amazing!! Her prayers she says are starting to be more like a conversation so YAY bless her heart she's growing such a great relationship with him its UNREAL!! 

Anways!! We got to SLAY A DEMON lol jk jk but like kinda haha we had a referral from a member for their neighbor. Her son was showing some behavior he never has before and he suggested a blessing from the priesthood so he gave us a call explaining it as "DEMON Slaying" haha as you can tell our ward is wild haha. So we had to get our Elders ... President and the ZLs to help us out and it was a REALLY cool and CRAZY experience. Haha from a very loud parrot in the background to a dog barking through a hole in the door. To the kid running around we got a SOLID lesson about the power of priesthood and faith across and gave the family some blessings. They talked about feeling peace and the spirit again and it was really cool!! We are so excited to see where that goes. 

Dutch bros is finally OPEN in our area haha and it's not good. We have officially created a habit of stopping by when we visit or are in that part of our area. Haha it's just muscle memory at this point haha but it's made an awesome place to make memories with our STLs and quite a few of our members!! So it's a tender mercy haha Anyways we have so many stickers it's  awesome!! 

On top of having SO many stickers we also did SO many crafts haha we literally had a day with 4 and a half hours of crafting haha we were trying to bond with our members and these specific members were very excited to share their crafts with us and so infact we did them haha and it was all in one day!! It was hilarious I was crafted out that's for sure!!! They night I think my hands were cramping because they were overworked and so was my brain. Haha but hey these members have been making the come back to church since and it makes my heart SO very happy. We are so proud of them. 

YOU GUYS final and last part of this email HAS to highlight the fact that it's FREEZING in houston. I am literally shivering!! I know houston and cold don't go together but it's freezing in the mornings and late nights and I got a runny nose this week!! NO CAP!! I literally am getting sick haha in houston!!! Who would have guessed it!! But this week has more vests and toboggans ;)) haha Anyways sorry my emailing skills are horrible this transfer haha I guess with age is the mission the worse you are with technology haha 

The coolest meals we ate this week were with the Toro family!! MY FAVS and the Garzas also AN ALL TIME FAV. We went to Torchys and Taste of Texas!! Both were such a fun experience and meal!! We also had fondue with the Garzas haha our members ROCK!! 

I love you guys so much!!! Even though I'm the worst at emailing y'all haha but I am so thankful that you guys have been lasting examples for me ;))

The one where Sister Wankier attend the temple 🥰🥰

 YAYYY TEMPLE WEEK :)) (Oct. 11- Oct. 17) 

okay you guys this week has been CRAZY!! CRAZY AWESOME!! 

We got to attend an endowment session in the Houston Temple !!! AND go to in and out AND have zone conference AND have 99 cent mozzarella sticks at Sonic with the STLs literally a GOATED WEEK IF YOU WILL!! 

The celestial room with AMAZING with all the missionaries it was a really really spiritual moment 

This week was some REALLY good lessons I cannot lie. We got to teach all kinds of lessons today haha From the law of chastity to tithing to Joseph Smith haha we were all over the map it was super awesome. Keeps you on your toes in your studies haha let me tell you!! 

Zone conference was AWESOME!! The theme was all about how knocking was not it!! Haha we have knocked 2,100 doors in the last 6 months and only one person has been baptized from it haha it's not about the numbers AT ALL but like how crazy!!!!! Than we talked about members and their role in missionary work so now we are going to be doing TONS more member work than before!! Which i LOVE I like it much more than knocking doors haha it's much safer lol not that I'm in a scary neighborhood at all but ya know haha during zone conference we also talked a lot about making action plans and how when it comes to wanting to get more people to understand chirst what do we need to do. We talked alot about mission statements, and mottos, and plans and all I could think about is 

"I CAN DO HARD THINGS" 

Thank you Jolleys gymnastics haha this motto is now on my mirror to remind me every morning 

We love our queen STLs we go to sonic so much because hermana Jorgensen loves sonic and I'm here for it haha while rearranging the apartment we got tons of pictures of christ that we love. And placed them on the wall with quotes the apartment is starting to seems A LOT more feminine now haha. 

This week ZOOMED by because of all the meetings and places we had to be haha but it was a week to remember I have grown my testimony so much more about the temple and miracles and the plan heavenly father has for me. So as always haha I love you guys!!! Keep being amazing!!!

The one where Sister wankier missed a week lol 🙈

 Hey y'all okay this email is for last week haha because last pday was crazy!! 

Okay well this week was week one of our new district. And 4 of our old district left so me and Sister Teerlink were the only people to stay and stay together. so kinda crazy lots of change was going on here!! 

We are getting Hermanas or some more sisters so I AM AO HYPED FOR THAT!! And they are our STLs and so we are gonna get super close now!! And they get all the tea about the mission and so now we get to know everything. It's quite nice. 

We are also getting new zone leaders but Lol don't worry it's just wheatstone haha we got another elder from College Station to be with elder crockett so that's awesome!!  

Our week went alittle something like this okay haha on transfers everyone is like unpacking and cleaning and preping their companion on their area but we didn't do that haha we had a normal Tuesday haha and it wasn't it.. it was the weirdest day haha but we pushed along and visited people and knocked doors and than we had an amazing Sunset and so we took tons of pictures and while we were enjoying the sunset we got a call from the queens themselves THE HERMANAS  and they asked if we wanted to grab a late dinner with them at sonic haha so of course we went haha than we enjoyed some sonic and get to know you questions haha they ROCK literally so much fun. 

Than we ran to HEB and got some ice cream for the new zone leaders and did some more get to know you questions!! Gotta love the stress they are 100% under being zone leaders for the first time haha but they are trying to hide it haha it's pretty hilarious!! 

Anyways our week was wacky after that haha Wednesday we brought ice cream and more get to know you questions to the new trainee or greenie in our district!! He's gonna be an awesome missionary!! He is also literally hilarious so gotta love it!! 

After that the week wasn't memorable haha OKAY WAIT JK JK IT WAS !! this week we had the Multicultural event and let me tell you I have never wished to know spanish more in my WHOLE life all the different cultures represented were amazing!! The music, THE FOOD!! THE TAMALES WERE HEAVENLY HAHA and the dancing was so fun. It was amazing. And we met a TON of new people it was awesome lots of neighbors showed up with friends in the church!! And we got to be the greeters haha we got to literally meet everyone it was awesome. I had 2 Hispanic families come to me and tell me about their returned missionaries haha Sister Teerlink said I was being sold husbands haha I love the Gonzalas family and Ramirezs HAHA they are awesome but I'm on a mission haha no men lol  or marriage haha...yet haha

Okay AND THAN!! on Monday because it wasn't pday haha we have an 8 day work week!! It was awesome..sorta haha well no one we teach really can do Mondays and so we didn't know who to stop by or visit or where to go and so we did some knocking and some finding at HEB and Kroger and the Boardwalk!! AND THE BEST PART WE REARANGED OUR APARTMENT!! HAHA YAYA!! I've been living in the same apartment for almost 4 months now and it was getting really old really fast and gross haha so it was definetly time fot a deep clean!! Still haven't gotten to the deep clean BUT we did get to the reorganizing and that was awesome the apartment looks amazing now!! So YAY!! 

HAPPY NEW TRANSFER IN THE SAME AREA!! 

okay that was our week in a nut shell haha we did have lots of lessons too haha don't worry we did do A LOT of missionary work as well!! We have seen some BIG BIG miracles and progress for SO MANY people it's been awesome. This coming transfer will be some AWESOME things for so many of our friends YAYYY 

Okay literally LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!! Im VERY VERY HAPPY and healthy!!!! And loving Towne Lake!!!!!!!
