The one where Sister Wankier goes to urgent care👩🏼‍⚕️🤭

 HAPPY PDAY!! 

you guys i have needed this pday to say the least haha 

it's been one heck of a week

well like I said last week we have been living in the emergency rooms and doctors visits and now the urgent care. it's been one wild ride. I haven't been getting any better haha the only way I was living was by taking hot Epson salt baths throughout the day haha 

I didn't think I would ever be in a swimming suit as a missionary but now I'm in one everyday sitting in our bath trying to walk haha 

we got a call from the doctors this week on Thursday after we told sister burt we are in fact not recovering haha so then we were sent to the urgent care friday morning to get a med pack  didn't know what that was until we got there. then we met a doctor for literally 30 seconds and she moved my hip once and then said it's your sciatica nerve and I'm gonna get you some stretches and some steroids and then we were done haha it was the quickest visit of my life!! she came back with a needle and was like here's the first steroid IT WAS RIGHT IN MY BUM haha like what!! Sister Morrell and I were trying so hard not to laugh as she was out here giving me this shot haha once we got it though I was able to walk again so it was literally A MIRACLE!! I also had a muscle relaxer and that has been SO funny. I'm loopy all day now haha and I will randomly just sleep sister Morrell is a trooper out here with my random power naps that leave me dead for a minute and then I will wake up haha 

we also had zone conference haha it was literally so spiritually uplifting I loved this zone conference!! the departing testimonies from the missionaries who are finishing their mission also made me tear up!! they all did so amazing!! and I saw some of my favorite people in my first areas!! Sister Morrell and I were very socialed out after it haha there was so many missionaries!! OH ALSO we got a shout out over the pulpit from President Amado for our Miracle Mondays haha me and Sister Morrell were terrified haha and embarrassed and very grateful HAHA all the emotions 

on the missionary side of things haha the works been extrememly hard. we had one of our friends decided this week she is done meeting with missionaries :(( we are going to miss Cheryl!! but know we are just planting seeds for the next missionaries!! one of my favorite members Judy has taken Cheryl under her wing and that's been such a blessing. 

we also were able to finish reaching Cai!! she is all taught and ready for baptism on the 11th of March!! we love this family!! she is such a hoot. we are so lucky to have met them. planning her baptism is A LOT though!! I'm so happy we have Sister Morrell because it takes some dedication haha 

we had some crazy miracles too. Sister Morrell got the hiccups at the home of our newest refferal and apparently the home was no good!! God had our back!! we also had the chance to see Olivia and Virginia while driving today because we weren't able to have a lesson this week and that was adorable. 

to wrap up this crazy week we were at the church for 4 and a half hours yesturday haha we were POOPED we had so many meetings 

if you get to here I want to say WOW thank you haha that was a lot haha it's been a crazy and hard and amazing week. God is so good!! and i am so thankful for the doctors and help in texas!! and Sister Morrell for driving haha and the chance to teach the people we do in good ole Cypress!!

the one where Sister Wankier learns OPPOSITION❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

 HOWDY!! 

it's been a WILD WEEK Y'ALL 

the highs were HIGH and the lows were LOW haha it was a wild ride. 

this week we met an amazing family and got to teach them the restoration!! OLIVIA AND VIRGINIA ARE ELECT we chatted about the Book of Mormon and the spirit and the Restoration. I have never had such a spirit filled lesson about the restoration my whole mission. and so teaching it was literally so AMAZING!!

we had the chance to welcome home a hermana this week too!! Cami Bird WE LOVE YOU she was some fun stories to tell us and we loved to hear all about her mission in chileand her homecoming talk was FIRE!! the highlight is "if you have ever or do ever think about a mission COMMIT to it and run with it. and God will use you ;))" we had dinner with them on Sunday and helped out at her open house. it's ADORABLE!! 

 

we also had the chance to go to bucees for the first time with Sister Morrell too but it's the BABY bucees but don't worry haha we will get her to it here soon and the bluebell factory!! we also had some crazy changes come in the mission as well lol I LOVE CHANGE haha it makes things crazy!! 

but we also had a MESS of a week haha my body decided to die this week and so we had to go to the er and get my leg checked out lol I got my first ultrasound though haha it was not the vibe haha the towel hurt my leg haha but the gel was warm lol Sister Morrell and I were separated though and that was TERRIFYING I now have separation anxiety haha 

moral of the story when you have highs there are also lows  WHO KNEW!! but don't worry I AM ALIVE AND THRIVING haha we were blessed that night with dinner from my aunt and uncle we ate TORCHYS that they doordashed us!! IT WAS SO NICE 

we also had a BOSS lesson with our friend cai! she is literally making leaps and bounds and has made me the proudest missionary ever. she is so tender and precious and going to be baptized on my birthday weekend. she us literally the most amazing girl!! we did a game night and talked about temples. they are literally heaven on earth. attend the temple for me this week haha I miss it literally so much!!

anyways MUCH LOVE FOR Y'ALL and I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE CHANCE TO BE A MISSIONARY and be in texas and celebrate 8 months today with my AMAZING comp Sister Morrell a big prayer request for our friend Cai and Cheryl!! they are both preparing to be baptizedYAY!! but can always use prayers!!

The one where Sister Wankier becomes a half nun🤔

 HAPPY P DAY!! 

well to address the title of this email lol. a few weeks ago we met an awesome volunteer at cam and she was very excited to meet us the "sisters" lol she asked us what made us sisters.. and very honestly we said we are out sharing the good word and serving like Jesus would and she said "we I love that you are like nuns" and I said sorry lol we aren't nuns we just sacrifice 18 months and she interrupted and said "so you're a half nun"... bless her heart 

anyways WHATS UP!! so sorry I have infact been off the grid!! and not sending emails. here's a quick run down!! of the last like transfer haha 

Sister Owens and I got to spend 12 weeks together and had the opportunity to serve in our favorite place ever CYPRESS!! we saw some huge progress and miracles everyday!! it's been an amazing time. we got to see Cheryl our friend decide to be baptized and witness kyrie and kokos baptism. we were able to help a family struggling in the ward WITH MOUNTAINS OF FOOD!! we were blessed with more food than we could ever imagine and so much fun celebrating other missionaries birthdays!! we went BOOT SHOPPING!!! and I had to get a crown on my tooth haha 

this last week we ended our 12 weeks with transfer news telling us we are moving haha so we stayed up REAL late and got sister owens all packed and I reorganized the apartment for SISTER MORRELL my new companion!!! on Tuesday we said goodbye to our district at breakfast and than took Sister owens to say goodbye to some of our friends!! and then to FIZZ our favorite place for our transfer. Sister Morrell and Sister Owens ended up switching places so it wasn't a huge transfer haha. we enjoyed some goodbyes and hellos and then were on our way to the promise land for sister Morrell. 

we chatted the whole way home. Sister Morrell let me tell you is my twin. we look the same, talk to same, and act the same. we are the same human. it's the best thing EVER!! so we chatted and than got to the apartment and we're surprised by our favorite people OUR STLS!! Sister johnson and Sister Secrist!! they get to stay one more with us!! we are so excited!! we came inside and the queens were inside with decorations and fun and we chatted and snacked as we were getting to know Sister Morrell!! then we unpacked haha and the rest of the week is not important lol 

we got Cai on an offical baptismal date and so she is going to be baptized on March 11th HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!! and we also chatted with Cheryl and had a lesson with the queen Debbie!! the grind don't stop in Cypress!! keep these amazing families and women in your prayers please they are making some leaps and bounds of progress towards christ and its SO COOL to see the miracles!! 

to end this amazing week we got to attend martins baptism!! Sister Morrell taught him and its ADORABLE to see all her hard work end up in this amazing baptism!! 

shout out president burrolla for the companion of the year and another transfer in Cypress!!!
