HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA !!!!! 

a day late lol 

ANYWAYS what's up!!! I am SO excited to give you the run down!!! this week has been SO AMAZING!!! 

so it starts with exactly a week ago lol last pday when we got a refferal from social media and before we could even call him THIS MAN JUMPS THE GUN and we are in a full blown missionary call while eating our burgers and fries at shake shack!! the work stops for NO ONE !!! we called and chatted with him about why he decided to request to meet with us and told him alittle about who we are and everything!! it was super tender!! he told us he really is wanting to make a good community to rely on and we were so HYPED to let him know there is no better community then one with christ!! 

we planned on meeting for a church tour on Friday!! so on Thursday we went searching and found our GOLDEN MEMBER!! Brigham!! he has been begging to be back in the missionary work and to help out and so we quickly swooped in and asked him about helping us out and this king goes and finds some others guys too to come and meet Suraj!! and I just felt so excited to actually know we can fulfill his request and get him a community!!! 

the church tour was AMAZING!!! we had the best time and the most amazing reminders of our hand in chirsts work!! we only truly get to be tools for him and his great plan and I have never felt so grateful to have gotten to be a small tool in this moment !! ot felt like the spirit of God was shining onto suraj and we were lucky to feel some of it!!! he came to church this sunday and LOVED IT he is hoping to come to institute tomorrow so YAY YAY YAY golden !!!! 

CRAZY SIDE STORY while chatting with Brigham THE GOAT I realized he served in a mission that a friend had served as well and so obviously not thinking they would know each other I asked if he knew him!! turns our they served 3 transfers AS COMPS!!!! WILD YA KNOW!!!! we had a crazy chat about this for a while after the lesson lol and them got CHURROS from the most amazing churro truck in houston!!!!! 

we also had zone conference with our new mission presdients!! Presdient and Sister Mcmullin are literally heaven sent LIKE FOR ME!!! FR FR well obviously heaven sent for everyone but like they are for me ya know!!! we got the biggest and best hugs ever and I literally fell in love with them!! I cannot wait for my interview with them this coming week!!!! they are huge outdoors peeps and LOVE the heat not the hummidity lol but they are pulling through haha I am feeling so so so blessed to be serving with them !!!! houston has needed them 

this week we also got a member refferal to visit with someone in the ward who was struggling and so we went this week and LITERALLY by the spirit was led there and got inside by the POWER of the spirit!! she told us about 2 hours into being in her home lol after folding laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning dishes and chatting obviously lol we sat on the couch and chatted and she said she's ignored every other missionary that has come by but she said she could sense our vibes were good

it was SO RANDOM but still a really cool reminder this week that this is the lord's work and he will lead and direct we just have to follow through!!!! I am feeling the miracles!!! 

MY MISSION MOM AND MY REAL MOM MET THIS WEEK!!! that was wild !! I felt alittle fomo lol but we made it through!!! 

today we got to attend the temple again to do some baptisms and while there i was reminded how cool baptism is!! how tender and essential it is!!!! i sat with two of the sweetest converts and just felt beyond blessed to serve in the temple!! while walking outside I saw some cutie missionary friends and was reminded how much I LOVE TEXAS!!! It's too good!!! 

ALSO it's summer and so SOOOOO many peeps are in the ysa and so we are playing some HYPE flag football and volleyball and basketball all the time!!! truly becoming a tri sport athlete out here haha 

we also still have the track and I've been running some FAST miles this week!! it makes me feel nostalgic lol I feel like I'm running back when I was training in the summer for highschool cheer haha it's been awesome !! 

those are the BIG highlights for the week haha but I am so excited for this coming week!!! more miracles to come!!!!! 

OH I got a 1 year present from Sister morrell and my WHOLE soul was HYPED haha we have twinning aggie jumpers and it makes me SO HAPPY!!!!!! SHES SO AMAZING!!!!!

I found out today that i have exactly 20 weeks left  

so basically 20 more emails and then y'all are gonna get some TEXAS SIZED HUGS FROM ME!!!

the one where Sister Wankier LEAVES CYPRESS😶😭

 HEY HEY HEY 

the day came we never thought would come IM LEAVING THE CITY OF CYPRESS!!!! 9 months and they finally kicking me out haha

three weeks ago we had transfers and so Sister Steadman and I packed and cleaned and packed some more haha and we met with our district and played some games one last time haha and said our goodbyes!! the gang was finally splitting up !! we said some goodbyes and sister Steadman and I had some good cries as well!! Steadman had the funniest quote wall going on in our apartment and the final and funniest quote that went up was

"I have no rizz"

"everything I know about you suggests otherwise"

thank you Steadman she is a bestie for life!! ya know!! 

the next day we packed up the car and were on our way to transfers!! got to see all the goats except sister morrel RIP but said some more hellos and goodbyes packed up the rogue and left with Sister Webb!! fun fact I fit all my clothes in my suitcases #amiracle!! 

anyways lol!! I'm now serving in the Woodlands YSA and the Glen Lock ward!! the YSA has the BIGGEST boundaries EVER we have literally the whole mission except Cypress and College Station!! other then that we are literally ALL over the mission!! it's literally the BEST!! 

the Woodlands Stake/Zone has exactly 3 sets of elders and 4 sets of sisters!! it's a sisters take over down here!!! it's the GOAT! we have SO much fun with the sisters!!! it's seriously heavensent!! the past few pdays we've had some fun!! like going to the temple with ariana and briana some of the recent converts in our YSA!! they are AMAZING!! we also ate torches tacos and went to the woodlands mall and let me tell you THAT MALL IS BOUJIE its so so so nice and had all the CUTEST clothes and stores!! God knew haha we also went bowling today SO FUN!!! I learned to spin a bowling ball!! thank you elder watt haha 

the work goes WILD here!! we've been on the cute community campus around here giving starbursts and Capri sun's and jesus cards and salvation haha we meet a ton of awesome peeps for the ysa!! we serve at the cutest thrift store!! we got a VINTAGE chanel donation and it felt like holding GOLD!! we also have family home evening with the ysa and institute and mutual with Glen lock so we are ALWAYS busy!! it's been amazing!! 

we are teaching some amazing people too!! sweet Karen called to us from the window of her apartment complex and we got to come up and give her a pamphlet and teach her about the restoration and prayer!! we had Daniel just upfront ask us how to join the church haha and sweet Karla who has a sweet mama who got lost for the church records in her immigration to America from Venezuela so we get to teach Karla as the hermanas teach her mama!! we also have some of the sweetest recent converts Ariana and Briana have made such a big impact on me and my testimony in such a short time!!! they are the GOATS truly!! and tiara is OUR FIIZ bestie and Taysha is seriously so tender!!! I have loved getting to teach them!! 

okay if you make it this far MAD PROUD LOL! this week we had some awesome workouts at the track close to our house !! Sister webb and I are runnin like crazy WE LOVE IT and had such a fun time with NO POWER lol we had an adventure being homeless when a huge storm rolled in a week ago and cut our power and was striking trees and no one could drive haha it was WILD we lost our power for 42 hours and had to live off of the sisters around us haha we got a small taste of hurricane season and now have a WHOLE new preparation plan!! our one small flashlight wasn't helping anything! plus I also had exactly 19% on my whole when it went out and what did I do LOL call Mike hahahaha so it was a WARM and hummid night here in the Woodlands! don't worry the work went on haha we had service and spent time with our members who have air conditioning and dinners with members FINALLY!! once the power came back on Sister Webb and I took a nap in our beds and WERE ON CLOUD 9!! I cannot express how thankful I am for the air conditioning!!! 

we also had an amazing exchange with the hermanas and I met a family from the Spanish ward who are my new besties!!! the husband is from Argentina and the wife is from CHILE HOW COOL!!!! they spoke English so well luckily haha but it was cool!! I learned last exchange in Cypress the congregations in Spanish and this time I learned to pray in Spanish so basically fluent haha while on the exchange hermana Hugh turned me into a hippie we went grounding lol what might you ask is this-let me tell you-its when you walk around barefoot!! center urself ya know haha loved every second of the hippie life hahahaha

oh and yeah I've been a missionary for a year now :))) HOW CRAZY!!!

the one where Sister Wankier is in transfer 8🫂

 WHATS UP!!! 

it's been too long!! 

happy Wednesday pday haha it's still wack!! my missionary week doesn't make any sense haha but hey we are getting more and more use to it!! 

well there's a bit of catch up to play haha it's been 5 ish weeks into this new transfer haha and it's been a WILD one!!

some of y'all may not know yet!! but this transfer I was split from my kid and became an stl!! stl means a zone leader but for the sisters haha and funny story!! I knew I was going to be stl it told me on transfer news BUT NO ONE TOLD ME I WAS STL over two zones!!! WACK!! it was a big surprise!! 

ANYWAYS if you have questions about stl haha don't ask me because i don't Even know what they do !! haha it's been an adventure to say the least!! I've gotten to explore alittle outside of Cypress in Tomball with some of the sisters we are over. we have been doing some awesome ministering calls and sister Steadman is making turtles for all the sisters :)) We have had literally a ball getting to know everyone and I love the side of having sisters to chat with and minister to and hype up but exchanges or when you do splits and go with other companions in other areas for 24 hours isn't exactly my fav to sleep in other peoples beds and shower in their showers not my fav but HEY the lord provides and it's been a blast to be with these sisters!! 

we are over some amazing hermanas but that means that we had to be in Spanish lessons and even though I have a 34 day streak on duolingo that don't mean NOTHIN but I do my best haha we've had a blast getting to laugh and meet these families!! I have loved chatting with the little kids and playing with them as the hermanas do their thing and teach these amazing people! this last one I literally brought some stickers and played with the 2 littles while they taught haha best place to be!! 

the last literally FOREVER has been awesome !! some huge highlights have been getting to give a talk in one of my wards I am over!! that was awesome!! and truly has too many miracles to share but im gonna anyways haha!! while thinking of who to invite I have a family in Towne lake I cannot help but just love on!! they are my favorite people ever!! last minute decision I invited them!! I thought maybe mom and dad and a daughter would come because they are a big family BUT NO!! ALL 13 CAME TO SUPPORT ME!! seriously such an amazing family!! another highlight was getting to do a zone training with Sister Steadman at zone conference!! we both dont know how it went for anyone else but we learned and loved it so thats all that matters!! CRAZY CRAZY story from our zone conference day was as we were planning and preping for this training and praying because this was my first and sister Steadman hates them haha we get a call 2 hours before zone conference is going to start!! and the stls tell us a sister needs to be emergsncy transfered out of college Station for safety and so we need to go pick her up!! zone conference isn't like an hour and done meetings its like a whole day thing !! and so we are like we have a lot to do today but want to help and so we plan on doing our long zone conference meeting and than were going to drive to College Station to help with this et obviously whole up there we chatted to some missionaries sadly not-sister morrell-and did some sight seeing and of course hitting up bucees on the way back haha!! and the most exciting one is definetly getting a refferal from a guy named Jack!! he is AWESOME!! 

we gave him a text when we recieved his request and let him know who we were and that we were excited to visit with him!! he responded SO QUICKLY!! and was SO HYPED!! but said he was out of town at lacrosse state and I remember one of our members also being at a lacrosse state this weekend and so I scan the youths Facebook and find out it's the same team and ALL OF A SUDDEN all yhe pieces fall together in my brain why I am where I am and so we explain we know someone he coaches and we text the youth SO PROUD OF HIM!! and now the rest is history!! he got a book of Mormon before we could get him one. already was connecting the book of mormon and Bible and has some amazing questions!!! its literally such a blessing to know him and get to teach him!! he is amazing!! 

with the change of pday and the proximity to the temple we get to go to the temple any week we want !! which is AMAZING so I've gotten to be in the house of the lord 3 out of these 5 last weeks!! it's honestly the best feeling ever and has my whole heart and soul. one of these weeks we did a sisters pday and went to the temple and were able to just sit with then and I was seriously in awe at what amazing sisters i was called to minister too!! they all have taught me so much and i can seriously feel the lord's hand in giving me the biggest heart to love them all so deeply and so individually God is so good!! 

I know we've had a million other tiny miracles like this but i promised these emails would be hype so i won't take all your time on it haha but we have had so many awesome times and miracles this transfer and now we are at the close of our mission presidents mission and so it's going to be a CRAZY last transfer with him. I got my last transfer news that I am staying in Cypress another round haha CRAZY!! I love this place I am offically the cypress missionary haha nothing but Cypress for me!! it's about to be the bomb.com Sister Steadman and I are about to go sickomode on our area!! so send up some prayers we are about to make some miracles happen

I offically am running out of time haha I have 4 more transfers and than I am homeward bound WACK!!! so so so thankful go my heavenly father for all the fun and memories and growth!! holy moly God is so good!!!
