happy end of transfer pday !! 

another 6 weeks gone !! 

this transfer seriously FLEW by it's wild 

the past week has been focused on my baby girl karla !!! and our sisters we are over !! this transfer we did quite a few exchanges with each companionship and had so many long nights full of laughter and crying and council and support!! it's been a blessing to get to serve with these sweet sisters!!! we also kept pretty close tabs on our fav Adrian as well !!! so that was good !!! 

this week we ate A LOT arepas   with cheese and ham hahahah and then we also tried avocado and mayo and beans and Pico it was YUMMY it was so good !!!!! 

on Friday we got to have the cutest exchange with the hermanas and I had the best time studying with Hermana Ortega and taking her to institute and service at my favorite place !!! hand me up  it's the sweetest little interfaith thrift store !! then we ended the exchange with a SWEET SWEET picnic !! it was amazing :)) I love these girls !! 

dont worry after the exchange we spent a hot minute in the sun and I got to roast again and enjoy the beautiful 107° weather we have been given down here !! a good uv index of 10 lol 

Saturday and Sunday were filled with karala again!! making sure we could get her to church and it was AMAZING !! to have her there everyone was so excited to meet her and talk and the relief society lesson was an answer to her prayers and mine and it was so amazing !!! 

Monday rolled around and we had a second exchange haha so we had our last district council and district lunch and then zoomed over to twisted sugar for our exchange drinks of the day :)) it was YUMMY !!! then I got to go to the woodlands second and first area and be with Sister Phillips who is the GOAT we saw some amazing members I loved all of them !!!!!! and had dinner with the most amazing family!!! 

Tuesday comes and we eat breakfast together to end this exchange and then it's off to the races going to Klein to get baptism forms and a gift and to get karla a birthday present ontop of that !!! and then finally back to the Old Conroe building or our stake center to unlock the font and start filling it BUT GUESS WHAT no one opened it and so we had to stress about finding the key and getting that all done and then the elders came in clutch and were SO HELPFUL !! and so we got the font cleaned only 2 roaches to deal with and a few rolly pollys and then we started filling the font ran home and changed and then got Refreshments and then got to the baptism!!! 

okay so the baptism is at 7!! now remember karla is from Venezuela!!! and is 21 lol soooo we knew to expect that we would start 20 to 30 minutes late because all ysa events do that !! naturally !!! bishop pulled up at 7:20 knowing this info as well !! we get karla right on time at 7:24 haha but no mom to be found ... so then we are like it's fine we will do Refreshments and pictures first and then wait for mom. we get karla into her jump suit !! pictures going !! all the fun is happening rn !!! then we get mom YAY and we take come pics and start the baptism right on Latino time hahaha 8 pm baby 

the baptism was amazing so spirit filled !!! we got the opportunity to have an old elder and her sister call in and see it and we had so many pictures and memories for her and it's just so tender !!! here is the most tender and spiritual part PREPARE URSELF

Rodrigo the guy who was baptizing her forgot to say her name before the baptism prayer and placed her into the water and then she came up and bishop caught it and we redid it !! so she had to be placed in the water again and the prayer correct this time lol 

and then we went to help her change and chatted about her feelings and thoughts she explained that when she went into the water the first time she felt nothing lol the water was cold and she was just like what the and then she went into the water the second time with the correct prayer and she came out and she said she left her burdens in the water !!! she felt peace and full of light and she was SO HAPPY she just said she felt so much happiness!! and she said she hasn't felt that in ages !!! 

THEN she told us she had deja vu when we were brushing her hair so that was CRAZY !!! we were like you are exactly where you need to be !!! 

anyways that's my week full of just sweet sweet Karla and getting transfer news also WHOOPS almost forgot about that haha this coming transfer I am going to be staying in the YSA ward another transfer and will be training a new missionary coming in:)))) A GREENIE !!!!!! ANOTHER KID HAHA !!!! 

I get to pick her up friday and sister webb also is getting a trainie and so we are together until Friday just hanging around!! knocking a few more doors!! maybe we will pack haha visiting our favs to say goodbye until then 

it's been such a blessing this transfer to be a missionary and I can't believe I am offically ok my last leg haha I have 11 weeks left as a missionary haha so that's terrifying!!! but hey we aren't super trunky yet haha just the right amount lol 

anyways I LOVE Y'ALL have such an amazing week and chat with you next Wednesday :))

God is so Good 

this week has been such a Rollercoaster haha starting with last Thursday getting to do service for some of our members !! we helped them clean their house and get groceries in !! it was such a good time !! the house is on the verge of a horders home and so that was really gross BUT other then that it was SOOOOO good to serve!! after that we must have been on a cleaning kick because then we cleaned up our apartment as well that day!! no joke!!! cleaning like crazy!!! but our apartment us SO NICE NOW !! it's so amazing!! 

Friday was a CRAZY DAY!! we had a stake meeting and then we're running from appointment to appointment!! the first appointment being in the sun haha WE HAVE DISCOVERED THE SUNS POWER!! not the bball team but I guess them too lol anyways we will sit in the sun for a good half hour at least everyday and it just is SO RELAXING it's amazing!!! then we had a lesson and dinner with our sweet relief socirty presdient and it's been SO GOOD to see the fruits of our labors with her !! we went over the do not contact list and are helping to get that set in stone !! then we had a lesson with SWEET SWEET KARLA !!!! we taught the simple principles of the doctrine of jesus christ !!! faith !! repentance !! baptism !! the holy ghost!!! and enduring to the end !!!! and while discussing we discussed her baptims and her mom who I'd a returning member asked karla what day she would like go be baptized before we could haha we set the date for September 2nd BUTTTT hold that thought for later !! 

we spent a ton of Saturday helping the ward find the do not contacts and so we had a lot of mean people to deal with ALL DAY !!! BUTTT the day ended with a lesson with karla and her mom and while we were there we relaxed, learned to salsa AND taught of the commandments !!! so WIN WIN AND WIN !!! 

and then on SUNDAY KARLA AND HER MOM CAME TO CHURCH !!!!!!!

on sunday we got told we had interviews on Monday as well so that was exciting !! we had such a good Sunday!!! we met Tyler and Robert at church and they ROCK they are really awesome pest control bros just selling haha then we had a lesson with royce our recent convert right after church and it was POWERFUL and then comes MONDAY!!! 

monday was amazing!! we had interviews and it was AMAZING !! we chatted about life with Sister mcmullin and with presdient mcmullin we talked about karlas baptism AND HERE IS WHERE THE HOLDING THOUGHT IS RELEASED!! president says I know I might be crazy ... but ... can we move up her date a few days AND IM LIKE WHAT THE BRO and he's like I know I know let's pray about it and let's decided and run with it ... so we prayed and not shocking at all be is totally right haha SOOOO we moved up her baptism TO NEXT WEEK !!!! August 30th she will be baptized :)))))) 

YAYYYYY 

then the rest of Monday was getting to enjoy a sweet exchange with Sister Phillips and sister tupou !!! it was AWESOME !!! I got to take sister Phillips with me around our area and we visited with Sydney the sweetest inactive member in the ysa we really got to take some time to meet her and chat and help her feel seen !!! I just adored this experience and so did Sister Phillips!!! then we had a FIRE dinner with our FAV ysa member brigham !!! we then zoomed to visit with some people who use go meet with missionaries .... we think hahaha we don't know how they met with them because one of the houses was ABANDONED and SOOO creepy !! and then the other one was a schools address so that was a mess haha but we made it !! 

Tuesday came and guess what WE SAW ADRIAN I haven't gotten to talk about him a ton but he was a refferal from brigham and he is AWESOME he's a rock climbing, pickle Ballin, God lovin Texan and it's AMAZING we got to see him and discuss how these discussion and studies lead to covenants with god like baptism and he was like u love this!!! I can't wait to personally grow closer to God in all ways especially baptism LIKE WHAT HOW TENDER !!! he is so amazing!! and Tuesday we got to see KARLA AND HER MOM and there are TOO many miracles to share about this lesson!!!

WELLLLL last but not least today we got to go to the temple before its closed for cleaning and it was PACKED it was awesome !!! ALSO I love the temple sooooo much !! it's literally THE BEST we spent a sisters pday there and it was AMAZING !!! I love these amazing sisters!! you become a STL and God gives you THE BIGGEST HEART EVER !!! and it's so big for each and everyone of them !! 

anyways!!! here is my awesome and long week hahahah I LOVE U ALLL and can't express enough how thankful i am, no matter how hard each day is haha, to be a missionary!!!! it's such a tender mercy to serve my God and my Jesus!!!

OH MY GOODNESS I didn't even explain linda lol anyways linda is someone we passed off to some sweet sisters this week and while in this lesson LOL the second time we met her she started BASHING on curly hair and essential oils and divorce ... it was CRAZY hahaha we were dead she wants to read from the Book of Mormon though so YAY for them haha can't wait to hear all the stories of what happens lol

i know !!! 

I am so sorry it's been awhile haha I will send my mom the last two emails I missed soooo hit up the blog I guess haha but this week has been SO AWESOME like holy moly its been a GRIND !! 

so a week ago from today was PDAY!! and last pday we were so busy with such random things we accidently slept in- let me rephrase- I DEFINETLY slept in because i was SO TIRED haha but don't worry we got up and ready and ZOOMED to play disc golf!! and it was awesome !! and SO HOT !! 18 holes was a LONG TIME and it isn't as cool as golf because there was no cart coming around with food so I guess you can say I am a plain old golf fan lol!!  then we took some time to eat lunch with the sisters and call fam and while i called SUNSHINE CAME TO SEE MY FAM!!!!  talk about worlds colliding and then we showered and went to hang out with everyone at the church and were trying to relax and not freak out before our first zone conference with presdient and Sister mcmullin!! but it was kinda REALLY hard to do that haha. it felt like when you are waiting up for Santa to come on Christmas eve ya know !! like we were PUMPED so we were all talking and getting excited and then we decided what a better idea then to pack all the sisters in our apt. and have a SLEEP OVER and late night breakfast for dinner!!!!!! so we spent the night looking through my closet to find dresses and braiding hair and talking and it was a really tender experience to bond one with another !!!! 

THE BEST PART OF THE NIGHT THOUGH was when we ended the night in prayer together. we all knelt together and sister webb asked me to say the prayer!! and I got to express my most sincere prayer of gratitude and love for these sweet sisters I am over !! and it honestly just was a reminder to me that I love praying over, for, and with those I love !!! it is such a huge part of my testimony !! and getting to share that with them was SO TENDER !! then we all CRASHED don't ask what time haha BUT we all still got up bright and early at 6:30 and the fun began !! we had music and singing and getting ready together and it was SO TENDER !! then we all packed up and ZOOMED down to Klein Texas for zone conference !!! 

YOU GUYS !!! I LOVE MY MISSION PRESDIENTS !!! is it because sister mcmullin came over to me and said I'm wearing my cross because I want to be like you MAYBE haha but it was seriously SO GOOD !!! the spirit and guidance and direction was SO POWERFUL!!! we talked about our savior jesus christ and what his atonement can be and bring into our lives !! like how to find comfort, hope, and healing and how to be forgiven and how to forgive and how we are saved!! and recieve salvation !! it was so amazing!! we also heard messages from missionaries and then from the mission office missionaries and let me tell you elder burt is the GOAT his message was so awesome !!! he reminded us to "prepare to compete" he told us some stories and shared that when we prepare for the day we come to compete with the opposition in the world !! it was REALLY GOOD 

we ate lunch and while eating sister mcmullin came and gave me the camera AND I GOT TO BE THE PHOTOGRAPHER SO YAY I went and took a million pictures and talked to so many people and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN !!! we celebrated birthdays and I took more pictures and then I took the zone pictures and then I talked to president and sister mcmullin and what he said WAS SO NICE he said I have an act for picture taking haha he said it much more meaningful haha I just can't remember it lol but then we broke up into zones and began an awesome little exercise we planned at MLC and so we explained and expressed how to teach a lesson in only 5 minutes instead of an hour and a half and how much more powerful they will be so sister webb did an example of how to do this and then the zone leaders gave examples of how to give effective and helpful feedback and then our zone went and did it AND IT WAS SO AWESOME the spirit was SO GOOD then we had the other two zones switch in with us and then we ended with the sweetest departing testimonies and my whole heart aches that these elders I look up to so much are headed home :(( but also SO THANKFUL FOR THEM 

then after zone conference we realized that our poor car was GONNA BLOW UP apparently our Nissan rogue has a bag engine haha so we started hearing some bad noises when we would hit the gas haha  so we called elder burt and he goes DANG IT not another one and I was like ANOTHER ONE and he was like ya we've had to have some engines replaced because they have BLOWN UP ON US so then obviously we said burt we need a new car we don't wanna be LITERALLY TOASTED IN THIS CAR haha so he helped us out and got us a new car haha so Friday we went and picked good ole HANNAH UP she's a Nissan rogue too but she's BLUE like what HOW FUN we love her !! 

Friday was also SISTER MORRELLS BIRTHDAY!!! give her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY YA KNOW sadly I couldn't be in College Station to celebrate her but we love her !! we also had Elder Fletchers birthday and mama garzas birthday as well !! we did in fact celebrate Elder Fletchers birthday even though he told us not to lol SORRY BRO stuck with a party girl ya know !!! but we had his mom reach out to a member she knows here and sent her some fun birthday tradition stuff and wanted us to help her plan it. well fun fact about elder Fletcher HE IS A CODA and so this member was from the deaf branch and so when she came that morning I was like webb I know she's deaf and I was RIGHT so I GOT TO SIGN WITH HER AND ELDER FLETCHER IT WAS SOOOOOOO FUN like who knew I had it still in me... not me... but I learned everything about her hahaha I LOVED EVERY SECOND I was in HEAVEN !!! 

then Saturday came and we had an awesome lesson with our new recent convert who moved in and talked about the temple and had a lesson with a members niece who cheered at MACS CHEER LIKE WHATTTTT she knows Julian who was my literal FAV ever and most amazing tumbling coach!! so we bonded and chatted and then we had dinner with mama garza to celebrate her birthday!!!! 

THEN MONDAY AND TUESDAY COME !!! and we have an exchange with our sweet hermanas !! and so we exchanged and had a blast at dinner with a sweet family who moved in recently their names are the beans and they have the sweetest little baby boy who just turned one and they call him LIL BEAN!!!! LIKE WHAT !!!! how freaking cute !!! hermana Hugh and I had literally SO MUCH FUN WITH THEM and we came out and were like this is therapy haha this is so good !! then we zoomed to FHE with our family ward and I got to meet so many new people who moved back and said goodbye to so many people headed to school and so it was so awesome and hermana Hugh knew our fav !!! Brigham so that was AWESOME !! 

then we woke up Tuesday morning on the 6:30 GRIND and worked out in our gym YAY YAY YAY and then we did our studies in the cutest library and I found my NEW FAV DEVOTIONAL EVER like come on AND MY FAV TALK CAME BACK AGAIN so that's when you know it's GOOD so this week I've been listening to wresting with comparisons- I will link it because ITS SO GOOD- and then I listened to on repeat christlike poise and LIKE HOLY MOLY ITS SO GOOD I am always just in awe after reading or listening to them. and so I want to share them with you!!!

anyways haha hermana Hugh and I did some studies in the library and then we went outside to finish the rest and we laid in the sun !! and I GOT A TANNNNN no cap i got a sweet tan and some awesome tan lines !!!!! I loved it I love the sun it is exactly ROASTING temperatures here haha like 115 this week while walking around was KINDA ROUGH but the tan is worth it haha them we did some missionary work as one does lol and then we exchanged back and sister webb and I had dinner with our fav Tuesday dinner THE LEES and we talked more tswift and the barbie movie per usual and then we came home and got some planning and goals set and did a really tender zone call and THEN CRAHED haha we had a 8 am endowment session so OBVIOUSLY we HAD to get some sleep haha 

anyways HERE IS MY CRAZY CRAZY UPDATE FROM MY WEEK !!! the x-games mode has been on OVERLOAD this week haha I am excited for another week but also sad because this transfer is winding down and idk who allowed that because I didn't haha but these coming weeks are about to be AWESOME !!!

the one where Sister Wabkier hits up MLC and is a REAL STL

 1- you might be thinking "two emails in one week" wow who is she 

and 2- what is MLC well let me explain both for you!!! 

HAPPY END OF PDAY!!! 

I know you already heard enough from me today BUT there is more haha last week was too awesome not to send you a email and this week was also AMAZING!! seriously the lord has provided ya know!!!! 

anyways this last week started with MLC!!!! which is mission leadership council!! so all the Zone leaders and Sister Trianing Leaders and the Mission president his wife and the Assistants to president all come together to decide what our mission needs and how we can help the work and the missionaries and it was seriously SO GOOD!!! it felt like an actual family council and president mcmullin was SOOO good at making sure EVERYONE was heard and EVERYONE was equal!! it was AMAZING!!! we set some good mission goals and standards like talking and discussing Jesus Christ and the Atonement in EVERY meeting we have!! and becoming good examples as leaders in this mission and to honestly find a balance of high love and high expectations!!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND!! the verse in 1 john 4:7-9 and Ether 12:36 came to mind the whole time!!! once MLC finished we found out we had some sisters in distress so we came home and picked them up!!!! 

they had a really bad apartment!!!!!!! and they finally got them out of there!! but we wanted to give them a good break so we had them quad up with us for the night!! thinking it was just the night OH BOY WERE WE WRONG!!! buckle up folks this one a fun one!! 

so Thursday night right we are expecting to get them into there own apartment Friday morning !! so we have a CUTE little sleep over!! full of deep conversations and boy talk and WAY too tired of sisters so TOO much funny buisness was going on lol but we had LITERALLY THE BEST AND LASTEST NIGHT EVER!! we were up tell 2 TWO IN THE MORNING !!!!!!! our 6:30 am alarm came SO FAST haha but we were UP and at em bright and early !! got some stretches done!! one of the sisters fell back asleep in the butterfly pose hahahahaha then we packed them up !! ate some breakfast and got ready to move them out!!! we called the elders to help us and GUESS WHAT we can only get help for 30 minutes from one set and then 30 minutes from the other lol so we had them moving all the heavy stuff and then some sisters cleaning and then more packing and some in the trailer too where all their things were going and we got all the stuff down and ready and then our housing senior missionary went to the office and found out that they weren't gonna be able to get their key tell Saturday at 10 am!! 

FEAR!!! FEAR IS NOW OVER ALL OF US!!!! because one the elders have a baptims and the other elders have an interview the next morning so we are going to have to move everything alone!!!! and ON TOP OF IT ALL the sisters just packed their life away in the trailer and so they have no clothes and the senior missionary when asked by the sisters where they should go said idk that's not my problem 

so I chimed in and said we can take them another night and he said idk if that's possible and I was like IM THE STL BRUH THIS IS MY ONE JOB haha my one responsibility IS TO MY SISTERS!!! so we got them ANOTHER NIGHT HAHA so we decided to quad up and go around as 4 missionaries for our lessons and stop bys and we saw some COOL miracles!! the most amazing one was definetly getting to eat with my aunt and uncle on Friday night and seeing them all together again!!!!!!! Having this dinner was more then just a plain Jane tender mercy this one meant SO MUCH to me and sister koger my BESTIE!! literally God was SOOOO present in the details today!!! 

anyways THE BEST PART OF THE WEEK!! one trailer and 8 sisters was unpacked the next morning in 20 minutes all by ourselves!!!!!!!! no help from no one!!! PURE sister power!!!! we had seriously so much fun!!!!! then as one sister does you finish moving everything up in 102° weather and then attend a baptism :))) hahaha we finished unloading and immediately turned around and all got dolled up !! Sister webb was playing the piano per usual and elder Smith thought it would be funny to ask me to lead the music SOOOOOO we had a repeat of last week hahahaha we are the baptism queens!! you can count on us anytime!!!! at esabellas baptism I also got get a sweet blanket and SHE WAS PUMPED to have a blanket to remind her of jesusso I got some cutie pics to share with you haha 

OH P.S. SISTER RADFORD IS HEADED HOME !!!! my mom is done with her mission !!!!!!!! LIKE WHAT!!!! I am SO THANKFUL i got to see her one more time and remind her how thankful I am for her !! 

OKAY OKAY OKAY SUNDAY !!!!! y'all Sunday was WILD!! literally we went to our ward !!!! we had Hayley our friend there !!!! and then we went to primary and sang called to serve with the primary and I almost cried haha THEN we went to the Spanish ward because elder wettstein gave his final testimony and talk so we went and while walking in some of there investigators came and obviously I told them to sit with us and OH MAN I didn't know what I was getting myself into we sang and spoke in Spanish!! and had to explain the sacrament to them THE GIFT OF TONGUES IS SOOOOO REAL!!!!!! we literally whipped out all we knew hahahaha then we had to leave and go to our final ward where Daniel was haha so we literally were on the missionary grind MORE THEN EVER BEFORE HAHA in two languages and three wards hahaha 

Monday rolled around AND LET ME TELL U!!!!! monday was a non stop party !!!! we woke up and worked out and then had a funeral to plan!! sooo when missionaries finish their mission we say they are dying and so we hold a funeral for them their last district council of their mission!!! and let me tell you this was A TOP 10 MOMENT OF MY MISSION type beat!! we had tables with black cloth and flowers and balloons and sad hymns playing and a podium and a program haha SO THE FUNERAL GOES AS SO lol 

I welcome everyone while the elders were in the hall we sit with out programs with all their random pictures and name and death date on it!! then we played the sad music and we welcomed each in by name and they walked in with flowers and then laid on the table and then I said some I'm so sorry for your loss words haha and then I invited old companions and the twins to come individually to say some finals words for each haha and they were SO FUNNY and perfect!! and then we moved onto hearing there final testimonies!!! and each one went up and said the SWEETEST things!! especially elders Smith and elder watt!!! they are some AMAZING missionaries!! what they said resonated with my heart so much!!! then we said a final thank you and we love you!! gave them some pictures and gave them some gifts!! and had a lunch together and seriously the love and support and unity in the room was unmatched !!!! it was so amazing!!! this funeral was so amazing I think 1 because it was a quad funeral lol and when does that ever happen lol never and 2 it was the perfect balance of funny and spiritually uplifting and motivating!!! the happiness was unmatched!!! 

today for pday we spent sometime being with this amazing zone!!!! everyone is staying this next transfer except those elders who are leaving lol they are just getting replaced so that's SO exciting we played some Secret Hitler!!! broke trust and relathionships too haha so it was a successful game haha we wrote in our transfer journals and said literally the hardest goodbyes of my mission!!!! like seriously I've never felt so sad to see missionaries go home!!!! each of these elders has a very tender place in my heart!!! 

today i also have realized I have 3 transfers left!!! tomorrow marks down another one I have literally 18 weeks left as a missionary!!! like holy moly where did all the time go!!!!!! I am seriously SO SAD !!! I never realized how much I love this work tell today when the elders were talking about how there last days as missionaries have ended :(((( I want to never leave haha it's such a tender mercy to serve the lord  I love my heavenly Father and his plan and gospel !!!!!!
