 I had to take half of my crew to the dentist this week. At some point I was talking to Daphne about the missionaries and their dinner calendar. I was trying to fit in a few companionships before they have transfers and before my husband and I fly out for a weekend later this month.

When it came to this companionship I told Daphne that we could feed our daughter on this day or that day? When the kids heard me, Miguel immediately said “you have another daughter?” I said “yes, we have adopted her”. He proceeded to ask what her name was and I told him.

So when we got home, Annalia went up to Daniel and said, “Mommy has another daughter and her name is Wankier!” 🩷

We met Madisyn the night before we found out that we had loss Adrian. So we’re coming up on a year soon. Both, my husband and I immediately connected with her and she stole our hearts.

Tonight I needed to be with her and I’m glad it all worked out so that we could have dinner together even though we had not planned ahead. We have always loved feeding the missionaries but I’ll be honest, we do have our favorites. This one immediately won us over the second she started talking. If you know her, you know she’s pretty special and has one of a kind soul .

The Texas Houston Mission is lucky to have her and our family has been blessed because of her service.
